Yay Lunch! was taxed with an inefficient code base. They had difficulty implementing changes and struggled to meet the scaling requirements necessary for their business needs. Without scalability, Yay Lunch could not achieve its mission of making healthy lunches accessible for every child.
Midwestern took ownership of the legacy code, accelerated it, and made the necessary improvements. We refactored and improved the overall health of the code base. These improvements allowed them to increase their number of drivers and scale their business with less overhead administration and fewer bugs. The result was thousands of hours saved. We mastered their business logic and rewrote their slowest endpoints, reducing database queries by 40 times and making the system 50 times faster.
